August Fenger, aka ELOQ, has taken Denmark by storm in a remarkably short time;
with the help of his friends on his hip hop/dancehall label CHEFF RECORDS, he has already produced platinum and gold certified records in his home country.
Now 22, ELOQ has established himself internationally and has played shows all over the world including Europe, Brazil and Tel Aviv.
ELOQ is held in high regard by scene defining acts the world over such as Salva,
Mad Decent, Bobby Tank, Ryan Hemsworth, Munchi, S-Type, Schlachthofbronx and
even Skrillex, Benzi chose to put two of ELOQ’s tracks on his “Exclusive mix” for “Diplo and Friends’’ recently, and his new single “C’MON” has received airplay by Skream & Benga as well as Bobby Tank for Mistajam, both on BBC Radio1.
ELOQ combines the heavy rhythms of hip-hop with UK bass, pop and tropical
undertones. His unique style, both as an artist and as a producer, have for the
second year running been recognized with two nominations at the Danish DJ Awards
(Producer of the year and DJ of the year). He has also been nominated for Politikens iByen award, “Upcoming artist of the year.”
The Copenhagen producer has kept a busy schedule. Amongst other things, he has
entertained the crowds at Denmark’s biggest venues, sharing stages with names
such as Major Lazer, Lunice, Rustie, Hudson Mohawke, Flying Lotus, Gaslamp
Killer, Om Unit, Starkey and Roska among others.
He has produced hit singles and records for local talent, and released countless of unique remixes, amongst others for Big Dope P, When Saints Go Machine South
Rakkas Crew and Ivory and Gold. His latest produced hit-wonder is internationally acclaimed artist “MØ”, who is Denmark’s new pop-comet.
The rest of the world has taken note of the Danish whizz-kid. On top of his work with other artists, he has recently released his own EP, titled “C’MON.” Released by London based label Activia Benz featuring 5 originals and a remix by Slugabed.

Coming up for ELOQ is a collaborative EP with the Scottish praised maximalist LOCKAH and much more in the works.
